Game Invitations
How do I invite friends to my game?
As the game's administrator, you will need to provide your game name and/or your username for them to look for your game and join it.
- Click on the Games tab on the Simulator home page
- Select Join Games from the submenu
- You'll see a full list of games available with a helpful search bar on top.
- You can select the Game Creator's Username or Game Name from the dropdown. You will need to provide your game password if it is a private game.
Does the Simulator have a How To Guide?
Yes, all users can access a guide on using the Simulator: How To Guide: Getting Started
Game Settings
Can I delete a game if I'm the game owner?
You cannot currently delete a game. We are working on adding this functionality in the near future.
Can I leave a game?
Yes, game players can leave a game.
Is there a maximum amount of players that can be added in one game?
There is no limit to how many players can be in one game.
Can game settings be changed?
Yes, for some fields. You can manage your game settings by following the steps below:
- Click on the Games tab on the Simulator home page
- Select Manage games from the submenu
- Click on the Modify Game Settings link
Which game settings CANNOT be changed after I've already created a game?
- Game name
- Game type (public/private)
- Game password
- Starting cash amount
- Allow margin trading (yes/no)
- Allow short selling (yes/no)
- Allow option trading (yes/no)
If you need to update any of the fields above, you must create a brand new game.
Which game settings CAN be changed after I've already created a game?
Note: If you are updating a private game, please make sure to enter your original game password to make changes to any of these settings.
